Lay Judges

At its session held on 15^th July 2021, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision on the appointment of lay judges in the Cantonal Court in Livno, appointing six (6) lay judges. The following were appointed as lay judges:

1. Josip Vidović
2. Zoran Vrdoljak
3. Mijo Ćosić
4. Zvonko Marijanović
5. Muhamedali Đugum
6. Ljiljana Dodig
   

Lay judges shall be appointed for a term of eight (8) years, unless their term of office ends earlier on any of the grounds referred to in Article 34, paragraph 4 of the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Prior to taking office, on 14^th September 2021, lay judges made solemn statements before the President of the Cantonal Court in Livno, after which they took office.
