If you
have reported a criminal offense, or if you are a witness in a criminal proceeding,
contact the prosecutor, who will explain to you the you have the right to
procedural protective measures in accordance with the assessment of the
situation and the need for protection. You have the right to protective
measures before, during and after criminal proceedings. Depending on the degree
of intimidation and danger to you as a witness, including your family,
different protective measures are applied. Also, in all the mentioned stages,
psychological help is available to the witness under protection. It is provided
by professional staff of the witness support department at prosecutor's offices
and courts, as well as professional staff of non-governmental organizations, if
necessary.
